Indeed. And various sequencers/probability generators in general.whyterabbyt wrote: Fri Jul 12, 2024 9:38 am Makes me continue to want more shift registers in my rack.

{fwiw} I find these invaluable for switching between them, combining (using analog OR logic) and for muting/un-muting.

Nice. Ive got a DivKid Mutes, which, although aimed at audio, might be usable for that, plus a pair of Tesseract VC Logics.
An idiot on Set Theory:

Those VC Logics modules look really interesting.
I very nearly pulled the trigger (see further below) on a pair of used DivKid Mutes a couple of days ago at a really decent price (sub $100@), and though I strongly prefer the paddle type 3-position switches on them and the Mutinator, I have been quite pleased with these, which also have a three-way switch (although round), 2 extra selectable outputs, and are buffered.
I did wonder how the vactrols in the Mutes would/might affect CV, and found this, which preempted that purchase, but I can still see innumerable 'downstream' uses for a couple of them, and may cave eventually. Like, even just sending random burst of audio to delays or reverb, and bringing various rhythmic elements in and out, etc..

This looks and sounds really cool!
I bet the B company have one and are already busy cloning
and of course they will do a great job.
But the only question is who wants one of these now and can afford it.
Or who can or will wait 4 years for the cheaper clone.
