The problem appears only when I send message to my loud Turkish neighbors, there are people listening better music. Living in Germany.
 I know exactly what you mean.
Did I mention something about neighbours earlier? I must be psychic.

So your neighbours must listen to compressed music then. Good thing it"s not for yourself ;-)
Having fun but the problem is present. The louder I push these speakers, they behave weird.
I get "self preservation" in-buildt but I dont understand that it is so chaotic. It doesnt cach peaks regularly like normal compressor. It does it randomly. Sometimes its perfect and sometimes decides to squish it after normal exact peak before.

DSP is not a general conformity and this push back is strange. If 4 out of 5 people don't understand, it's at least worth considering that the problem might be your communication.

Anyway, if I have to guess, I'd say the DSP is designed to protect the speakers, not provide pleasant sounding compression.

Look, Im very long into playing and recording guitars, software synths, just about going dawless.
Please dont underestimate my questions. I know exactly what I'm asking. It may sound like a beginner ready to waste his time on countless "dont drive the speaker" solutions. You should know that when I ask question, behind my question is work with live bands, work with FL Studio and Live. My setup is Launchpad pro syncing with Elektron Samples and Arthuria Minibrute 2s-
Everything working with Ableton with external hardware FX.
So, I would appreciate just a little bit of back off from "he is an idiot"
Im asking simple questions and not tolerating idiots looking for anything else than my questions.

That's because it's not a musical limiter. It's designed to prevent damage caused by feedback. The detector works in a different way.

More background: Certainly they used a small FFT window in the detector for two reasons. First because it needs a lot less processing power which cuts costs, second because it introduces much lower latency (Who wants to work with monitors which delay the output by one second or more?). The (other) downside of a small FFT window is that it's not accurate which adds to the "chaotic" behavior of the limiter.

It sounds reasonable what you say. Thanks.

Why on earth would you use a FFT on the detector? I've never heard about that before, care to elaborate?

Love it! :D
There is a point, though.
Have you ever try to solve your internet connection problem with your ISP Customer Service?
They assume you're an idiot. You need to listen to their advices like restarting router, checking cables and all crap before getting to the point. I'm very impassioned in those situations because I feel like we're wasting a lot of time on something that could be avoided if you just say upfront that you have experience and knowledge so we don't need weeks of back and forth communication just to get to that point.

2. Turning up the (all the way up) volume is producing strange random compression.
3. There are no problems when Im making music (Ableton) since I dont need to drive them hard.

It gets worse with volume.
LOL, dude. :D

EVERY speaker will sound like crap if turned up too loud. That's just normal physics, man. LOL
May Peace Prevail between all the cultures. guten tag
