I actually just bought version 2 of this(just released?), and so far its great and the dev is great.

Ive been looking for a tool to do exactly this for a while as I have a huge sample library (over 1 million) and many lack note and key info, and without solid music theory knowledge I struggle to hammer some of them into a form I can use. Extracting note info reliably (this thing is reliable! I havent really seen any trash / extra notes picked up by it and Ive put about 70 samples through it) is a huge time saver and creative tool for me.

I use monkey C's 'Rando2' creative sampler/sequencer instrument(loads 88 samples across a keyboard, sequences, etc), and Ive added grabber2 to the whole bus that sampler is on to great effect. As I play with Rando, I can quickly capture any note info I need using grabber2 as a plugin. This is great stuff!
