I think you'll get a small loyalty discount if you do. The Sound Toys bundle is about $200 now but you'll save more than $268 in the long run with free updates and a 95% reduction in GAS (clinically proven in many peer reviewed studies). Don't worry if you hate the interface/GUI at first. You'll get used to it and maybe learn to like it.
If it's your first Melda purchase, get a referral code from anyone with a Melda account and you will get an extra 20% off.
Plus sign up for the newsletter and get a $10 off code that can also be used on the first purchase, so $364 in total.
70+ effects but not sure if they have to be used in the Rack!

Racks are very useful if you want to share presets with someone that is using another DAW (or you change DAW yourself) and also give you inspiration. Rack is a +1 in my book.

have you considered that when people do things, it might be about "want" rather than "need?"

having 6 FX in one window, as opposed to 6 different windows, means less time switching windows to tweak the chain. lots fewer mouse clicks = more efficient work

installing one fx rack plugin vs installing 30 separate plugins, can keep the daw tidy.

having one developer's rack means not having to learn several different ecosystems, control schemes, idiosyncrasies, copy protections, GUI layouts, etc.

a rack often opens up a lot more modulation possibilities (and provides a quicker, much more convenient modulation workflow) compared to running a bunch of separate plugin instances.

a rack can have a particular feel or aesthetic or feel, which can be extremely important to some people. creating an environment you find conducive to creativity is essential. if someone likes working with a rack, then that's great! and if you don't like working with a rack, that's great too!

why not live and let live? why insinuate that people who use FX racks are somehow inferior in their skill level, and "better spend that money on chatgpt" just because you don't have a use for them? is it an insecurity thing?

If you have 6 fx on one track, the choice of your plugins is the last of your worries, rack or no rack.

Having used both for years, I'd say consider Waves Abbey Road Bundle

I got the H9 bundle last week. It's excellent. I liked it enough that I got cross grades to
H3000 Factory MKII and H3000 Band Delays MKII.

I'm enjoying them so much that now I'm thinking of taking the plunge into Anthology.
I'm hooked. :o

Yep - they got their hooks into me. I just sprung for the Anthology XII update. :help: :hihi:

Saved a few bucks by doing it in stages, but it might have been less hassle just getting it right away.
I started out only wanting Blackhole :dog:

They're a good company though and have been around a long time.
Sort of like the Moog/Oberheim of fx and signal processing. :tu:

There's no alternative, Soundtoys plugins are different than most other plugins
