Yes thanks I wasnt sure more of a public personal note to check when home.

In fact Ive just realised waves now have their free plugin pack which includes vst3 studio bwrse that will host vst2 and vst3. So thats going to be my solution for now via Mercury.

Unfortunately, it won't host VST2, only VST3.

Ah bugger sorry. Looks like Im still in the same boat.
Im sure years ago I had a vst3 wrapper ill have to have a dig through the hard drive.
Just got new pc and 90 percent plugins being vst3 or only vst3 so for simplicity want to use only vst3 if i can. Only need for a few older plugins like Alchemy, vanguard1,PolyAna I think and a few other outliers. Spose I could delete the vst2 that dont get used to save scan times etc.

Well - now that VST and ASIO has become open source, there might perhaps be a reason for hoping that the JBridger is upgraded to support VST3?? (My VST2-version is working in Cubase 14 Pro, but I could abandon all of my old bridged 32-bit plugins and be entirely on VST3 if the bridger was upgraded. I'd also pay full price for the upgrade.)

as a former JBridge user, I now run DDMF's Metaplugin and it's pretty fantastic. On OSX i can even run Intel VST2 plugs in Silicon Cubase which is VST3 only. I'd be interested to hear how it works on Windows. The latest version of Metaplugin has been quite stable for me, which is the most important in my book.

The Unify dev was asked about Emulator X as it was crashing Unify. They said there was no plan to fix Unify. Not sure if Unify 2.0 still crashes, but don't expect it to work unless you have it verified...
