And in this case the issue is the JS tone generator anyway, no distortion at all when using MOscillator (free download from Melda if you want to confirm).

I really don't understand why a “wise” developer thinks it's okay to install 430MB of sh*t on my machine when I only asked for their oscillator plug-in to be installed. I don't know why for instance I have to have MSoundFactoryInstruments files and folders all over my machine. For this reason alone, Melda is permanently uninstalled..jon wrote: Sat Feb 22, 2025 4:54 pm And in this case the issue is the JS tone generator anyway, no distortion at all when using MOscillator (free download from Melda if you want to confirm).
But of course I tested it before uninstalling it. And here are the results: I have no idea why you think MOscillator introduces “no distortion at all”. When the opposite is true. In fact it's REAPER's Tone Generator that introduces no distortion at all. Keep in mind these screenshots are just the tone generators without any volume manipulation/automation. With automation MOscillator is much worse. At least REAPER's Tone Generator is clean as a whistle when not automated.

I explained it again in this thread previous page. Its not a distortion of the oscillator/automation, its your analyzer that can’t do better for physical reasons…!

Please provide evidence so we can learn better.Tj Shredder wrote: Mon Mar 03, 2025 7:33 am I explained it again in this thread previous page. Its not a distortion of the oscillator/automation, its your analyzer that can’t do better for physical reasons…!

I did, just read the last post on the previous page and get some literature about FFT…
