SpectraLayers 12 will be announced in a couple hours here:

I'm pretty proud of all the improvements and exclusive new features we were able to pack for this release, for both music and post-production users !

it is out but do i see right 90 bucks to update? wasnt the update last time 50 bucks? pretty hefty price increase.... no introprice either?

there is a 40% coupon if you buy a new license but no 40% coupon for updates/upgrades kinda bad move.

2 times or so you could update with a discount... but the normal update price was 69,99.. indeed a price increase...

a 40% discount or 30%.... i think it will be on black friday...

EDIT: there is indeed a discount of 20% for an update

89.99 EUR upgrade (£60) from Pro 11 here in the UK. Definitely not worth that to me for the update, especially as I also have that 40% coupon but it's only for new purchases.

Maybe I'll think about it in a sale, as Steinberg aren't generous on skipping a release as then the upgrade is more expensive.

Does anyone know whether you can purchase the upgrade now and apply it when SpectraLayers Pro 13 is released? Or won't this work as the upgrade was purchased for SpectraLayers Pro 11 to 12?

$72 here. This is a no brainer. I would spend $70 just for the stem separation feature.

I originally used RX Advanced, but I abandoned after V9, and I am glad I did. Outrageous upgrade fees for very little added value. I love Spectralayers. Unlike RX, their upgrades are actually adding significant functionality at a fair price.
