I never bought it, so I'm glad I'm going to have it for free! It would be nice to implement some of the algorithms or filter types in Icarus 3, which doesn't have enough high-pass or unconventional modes.

There won't be a VST3 or M1 AU version. However, there will be linear drag for knobs and faster loading times.

I always loved the sound of this thing (and FB3).
And so many different and great sounding filter types, including resonators, combs, diffusers... even 7 different formant filters.

I would've been using this constantly, if it wasn't for a few crashes I was having in FL.

Really hoping this new version plays nice.

It's not possible to port BiFilter to VST3 or Mac M1 with reasonable effort. So please don't us ask for it.
