It's supposed to be a new "semi-weighted" keybed; which would not be just a bigger Lumi with a new name. (At least, I sure hope that's the case; or I'll be sending it right back.)llze wrote: Wed Jul 30, 2025 7:35 pmOn the Lumi keys you can't, that is only at Seaboard. I don't know for sure for the Piano, but I think it's just a bigger size and new name, so doubt it.TheMaestro wrote: Wed Jul 30, 2025 7:24 pm Can you control anything by sliding up and down on the keys on the Roli Piano?

Why the snarky reply?papatomany wrote: Thu Jul 31, 2025 12:18 pmThat would be what they call "slide", so, no, it doesn't have that.TheMaestro wrote: Wed Jul 30, 2025 7:24 pm Can you control anything by sliding up and down on the keys on the Roli Piano?
And didn't you see it was already answered, so your input is what we call "useless"?

Wasn't intended to be snarky. Sorry if my tone came across that way. Just put Slide in quotes because it's the term Roli uses, while other MPE manufacturers may use different terms. The Seaboard lists it as one of the Dimensions of Touch, but the Piano doesn't.TheMaestro wrote: Thu Jul 31, 2025 2:19 pmWhy the snarky reply?papatomany wrote: Thu Jul 31, 2025 12:18 pmThat would be what they call "slide", so, no, it doesn't have that.TheMaestro wrote: Wed Jul 30, 2025 7:24 pm Can you control anything by sliding up and down on the keys on the Roli Piano?

IILZE said he (or she) wasn't sure; so I was giving more details to corroborate. Again, sorry if you found it redundant. Just trying to be helpful.
