Actually it happens with any 32-bit plugins, so I kinda gave up on those. It’s weird since they used to work fine, and the only thing different is that I use Windows 11 now. My hardware has been the same for about 5 years.TotcProductions wrote: Thu Aug 07, 2025 5:03 pmI've been using it in Sonar (the most recent update) with no issues so far. Will keep an eye out for anything that pops up, though.Examigan wrote: Thu Aug 07, 2025 4:59 pm Thanks!
Cakewalk Sonar can load 32-bit plugins, but I get a sputtering type of audio, even if I turn up the buffer size to 1024 samples.

Very strange! I've used it in Sonar on both Windows 10 and 11.

Preset 4 "Forest Flute Lead" maybe?Touch The Universe wrote: Thu Aug 07, 2025 6:02 pm I remember this had a really nice synthetic flute preset.
(basically this is just the RECWAVE sample + some chorus/delay).

You should be able to "midi learn" most anything you want to the modwheel by right clicking a given control and selecting midi learn (just move your modwheel after doing so).

Yes! nBeat, for sure. I knew I wanted him to do it as soon as Deadelus came out. I always loved the GUI on that synth (which sounded great, too!)Shifrin wrote: Sat Aug 09, 2025 8:34 am Was that an nBeat GUI, I remember this when it came out, how time flies...

nBeat's skins for Pentagon 1 were awesome! I've always loved his style. It seems like he's disappeared or my google-fu skills are not up to finding anything about him these days. I believe his name is Jorgen.TotcProductions wrote: Sun Aug 10, 2025 4:21 pmYes! nBeat, for sure. I knew I wanted him to do it as soon as Deadelus came out. I found this link from an old post in 2013 but my security suite won't let me access the link. Thinks it's a phishing risk and after all this time who knows.

Jörgen Arvidsson according to that link. Only thing on the page are Deadalus and Monolisa and a preset bank (for Deadalus) download links.
Anyway, never heard of this PS-1 but has some lovely sounds. For any newbies interested, it works in Reaper.
