okey, there we go
just tryed to log in.
One main reason i bought so many PA plugins was: their licensing system worked well, logins worked well, into the shop/PA, into PA manager, everything was smooth to me. all my plugin handling was smooth and easy.
contact the admin ? Well, if they´d have some valuable support..........

Teksonik wrote: Tue Oct 14, 2025 7:55 pmWhy would the "Soundwide Welcome Bundle" contain different products for different users? My Focusrite SC shows as a separate product.jamcat wrote: Tue Oct 14, 2025 7:43 pm Yeah, the "Soundwide Welcome Bundle" is listed as a product. Here is what it contains:
Black Box Analog Design HG-2
Shadow Hills Mastering Compressor
Ampeg SVT-VR
Brainworx bx_masterdesk
bx_oberhausen
bx_console Focusrite SC
So that's where the missing plugins went.
But I already owned several of these before the welcome bundle. Focusrite SC in particular, I bought years ago. With money. And yet it isn't listed as a product I own outside of the Welcome Bundle. And of course the Welcome Bundle doesn't list what's included in that list. I had to google it to find out.
But Ampeg SVT-VR is listed separately.
I've never even heard of Soundwide let alone their "welcome bundle". All my purchases have been directly from Plugin Alliance.
So they're conflating licenses purchased separately into random bundles for each user? Without letting anyone know and without listing what's in those bundles? That's going to go well.....
"Soundwide" is the name of the company they formed when PA, NI, and iZotope merged. Before they realized it was dumb to create a new entity with a dumb name no one had ever heard of and went with Native Instruments instead.
The "Soundwide Welcome Bundle" was given to everyone with an account or who signed up for one as a means to advertise the new short-lived company name.

I got that weirdly accusatory and threatening error message the first time I tried to log in today, too. I tried again and it worked. Turns out, further attempts were not blocked after all.Funky40 wrote: Tue Oct 14, 2025 8:19 pm just tryed to log in.

This is going to be a shit show. Sigh..
EDIT: Yup.. plugin manager refuses to let me log in. Was trying to log in to see which plugins I'm missing and to make a list of everything I have just in case it gets even further out of whack.

Oh dear, tried logging in, got "Something went wrong" (too many attempts) error message. I bet genius that developed the back-end is measuring total number of logins per minute/hour/whatever instead of logins per account per minute. Or something as stupid as that. This was my first login attempt.
I own 80+ PA plugins, I can't wait to find out what is missing/broken.
And I loved old site because you could login while remaining on whatever page you were on. First thing this new idiotic site did is redirect me to login. It's like everything is going backwards, does anyone even do design stage these days...
I liked old PA site. Everything worked. Their auth system never failed me. And now, this.
Enshittification continues...
edit: to clarify, I've tried logging in multiple times in past 15-20 minutes, every time I click on the login icon (top-right corner), I am presented with "Something went wrong", I never get a chance to input username/password.

We truly live in the times of enshittification. The new website is _much worse_. Whoever designed it and takes care of the back end needs to be fired. Or at the very least, fire the middle bosses / managers. I wish there was more consequences.
Guess it's time to boycott PA as well. I've successfully cut out both IK Multimedia and Native Instruments. They haven't seen a penny from me in more than half a decade.

As someone who paid for all those plugins that doesn't give me the warm and fuzzys but hey whatever.
All of this could have been avoided if in the email announcing the new website they would have just said "Note: in your accounts some of your individual plugin licenses may have been added to a bundle" then clearly listed what plugins were in that bundle on your account page.
So once those plugins are listed under "Soundwide Welcome Bundle" are they forever linked together? In other words can you just sell one or do you have to sell the whole bundle and what are the transfer fees?
I don't plan on selling any of my PA plugins either because I use them all the time or they're just not worth the hassle of selling due to the fees but I imagine inquiring minds would like to know.
All in all this was a poorly handled roll out in my opinion but these days I've come to expect little else from corporations especially the bigger they get.
EDIT: For the record I'm not a Plugin Alliance hater but to say I'm not a fan of their new corporate masters would be an understatement.

I'm afraid to look. I think I have about 50 of their plugins.

I have too many products of theirs, and too many product of theirs that I don't use, so to figure out what is missing, I don't have that kind of patience.
What I am missing though is my wish list, seems they got rid of that.
Also it would have been nice for it to be able to hide the stuff we already own.

OK, so for about 10 minutes trying to login to their site gave me an error, but everything seems to work now. All my stuff is there.
Only thing I'm not seeing anymore are the upgrade offers that used to appear in my account.

Never been a fan and it's always appeared to me to be company that schemes for their own residual income. I'm sure their products are fine though and wouldn't give anyone grief for using them.
However, I seem to remember registering an account years ago, so decided to give it a try. Took me a couple of tries to remember old passwords but the second try logged me in easily. Account shows six products which I got free or they gave for free. I forgot I had Knifonium, which I'm sure was the reason for registering in the first place. But everything seemed to work fine.
