The idea of focusing almost exclusively on the supersaw as a tool solely for that purpose is perfectly fine. However, for many users, the balance between features and content versus price isn't right. Because otherwise, JP6K is still superior (at least for Windows users), simply due to its price and number of presets.hahmodsp wrote: Wed Nov 26, 2025 1:03 pm Hey guys, dev here! Totally fair points about the features - this is definitely a super focused tool compared to full feature sound design "workstations" and I get it's not for everyone. But there seems to be demand for this type of quick supersaw tool for people who iterate fast and are not fans of tweaking knobs for hours. My goal was to create a tool that would allow me to create great sounding supersaw leads and pads in seconds instead of menu surfing whole day longFor that particular need, I think it gets the job done and for my personal liking the Roland JP-8000 supersaw has always sounded a bit too digital so hence I went crazy and added the LFO modulation feature, which in my opinion does add a nice/unique touch to the sound.
About the 15 minute limit on demo mode - actually you can launch unlimited demo sessions, just remove the instance and start overedit: sorry my bad, needs a DAW restart first!
With a few small extras, such as a noise oscillator, an LFO for pitch/filter, and perhaps one or two more effects, it would likely have been the (originally intended) streamlined JP emulation that many would have liked.

I know what it's like to put out an obvious "labor of love" kind of product, and yes, I'm probably part of your target market... the "get that sound in 5 seconds" is the killer feature imho and adding more features might spoil it. Personally I'd need a different intro price to get on board, but I wish you good sales!hahmodsp wrote: Wed Nov 26, 2025 3:20 pm This is actually super valuable feedback, thank you very much! I intend to develop it further and I will definitely take these suggestions under consideration![]()

I have a question for the devloper:
Why someone should want to buy this synth at such high price when there is something like Surge XT or Vital that you get for free and can make much better and more interesting supersaws?

Then by that logic, wouldn't your statement be subjective as well? I'd say that most people would probably not think the two synths you mentioned sound as good or better. I do think the real question though is why would anyone want this synth when there are other synths accurately emulate the whole JP8K or plugins that allow you to run the actual synth itself.Lbdunequest wrote: Wed Nov 26, 2025 8:17 pmThats very subjectivedjanthonyw wrote: Wed Nov 26, 2025 8:08 pmThey definitely don't sound as good.Lbdunequest wrote: Wed Nov 26, 2025 7:36 pm Why someone should want to buy this synth at such high price when there is something like Surge XT or Vital that you get for free and can make much better and more interesting supersaws?

Thank you very much for the nice words and I agree - it's a slippery slope when you start adding features. Pretty fast it's just another synth that has all the necessary features but the main idea of the 5-second-supersaws is lost. So yes I will be very cautious of adding any features that might ruin that particular experience.

Hmm, that's a very loaded question and I'm not sure how to answer that. Free tools have always existed and many people use them to create amazing tracks. Then there are paid plugins that cost a fortune - does anyone remember what Waves packs used to cost 20 years ago? I guess it's just a matter of preference ultimately. Everybody gets to choose the tools they use.Lbdunequest wrote: Wed Nov 26, 2025 7:36 pm I have a question for the devloper:
