yeah true dat! Some other sites actually send reps to NAMM to do live video podcasts/broadcasts as well. Might be some sort of commercial decision by KVR? They are a retailer after all.

Those plugin announcements are already old news here.

They are not at NAMM but Beetronics just released this monstrosity of a delay

I remember before NAMM opened it's doors to the general public where only dealers and those in the publishing field were allowed entry. I tried to bribe guitar store owners for their tickets.

These days I wouldn't waste my time. Rather go to a guitar show and see all the cool used gear.

That T-Rex Echorec reissue seems pretty crazy... I bet it'll be pretty costly (like their tape delay pedal), but I'm glad they're doing it none the less.

An echorec is definitely in the "don't need at all, but would absolutely love," category.

It seems like putting the switches so close to the touch screen makes it likely that someone will step on the touch screen. Also with my feet, if I were to step on either of the top two switches, I'd likely trigger the one below.
Yeah, some other pedals like that too. Like a normal enclosure with 2 switches at the bottom, always feels like you'd have to be barefoot and aiming with a toe.

Strandberg showed their new .strandberg* x Jamstik Chameleon guitar. It's based on their Essential model but has also the Zivix Jamstik MIDI module. Fully polyphonic MIDI and supposedly tracks really well. Jamstik has their own guitar models, but this is like a more modern high performance take on that.

Shark Guitars showed their modular guitar tech. Detachable neck, new bridge system, electronics, fx and pickup modules. Fully adjustable nut, easily replaceable and adjustable frets...

I found the perfect delay for anyone who wishes they could get Delay Lama in pedal form

Even if the piano player can't play, keep the party going.

KVR does have a NAMM specific page here:

We also do a NAMM summary every year. 2026 will appear shortly. Hope that helps.

Excellent! At least ⅔ of it was stuff missing from all the other NAMM coverage I read.
