Might be better being more accurate with the labelling there.

Seems hard to manage, to find this statement not accurate enough...

Thanks for the note, kvotchin.
Fair call—the $1 unlock does make it function more like a low minimum pay-what-you-want than unrestricted donationware. I stuck with "donationware" since that's the itch.io framing for similar setups (free demo + donation for permanent unlock), but "donation-supported" or "name-your-price" might describe it better.
The title's been updated to highlight the current 2-month promo (free full personalized licenses for anyone from this thread—no donation needed right now), so hopefully that's clearer upfront.

Appreciate the feedback—helps sharpen things. If you're up for trying it during the promo, just reply or DM!

Okay the latest version does load fine in FL Studio and Waveform Pro on Windows 10 so good job for that. The license file also works.

A couple of issues that struck me right away, I don't see a way to resize the plugin. Drag/resize doesn't seem to be possible and there is nothing about GUI size in the Options drop down. Resize is a function that I imagine will be important to many users. I'm still on 1920x1080 and the UI is a bit too small at least for my old eyes but anyone working at a higher resolution will probably find it even smaller.

I notice there is a patch category "Arp & Sequences" but I don't see any Arp/Seq on the plugin itself. The presets in that folder just use delay to get some motion. They don't arp or have any note sequences unless I'm missing something.

I also imagine some people will ask for a better patch browser although I don't hate drop down patch selection. The problem will be when you get so many presets in a folder that it requires scrolling up/down to view patches.

There are some very nice sounds in the factory presets so I think GammaWave has promise but just needs refinements. :tu:

I'd also be interested in giving the full version a try. :)

Pretty cool, yea imo, you should consider adding arrows to facilitate moving through the presets. Not a fan of the orange base color, some color options would be nice. Anyway impressive effort, should be a great resource for folks. :tu:

Awesome feedback :)
I will release soon an update with window zoom capabilities and a true arpegiator. Regarding the better preset browser, I hear you but as there aren't so many presets for now I will think consider it for a later release.
Thanks!

Thanks for the kind words and constructive feedback.
On the preset navigation: I leaned heavily on mousewheel scrolling since it works smoothly on all combo boxes and feels natural in my workflow. I will think about it but I am not too sure at this point as it's already pretty busy part of the UI. Maybe keyboard shortcut for previous / next could help there too.
Regarding the color theme, I will look into implementing this, probably looking into adding grey, green and blue.
Let me know in case you have any more feedback.
Thanks!

Ok that's great news. Looking forward to the Arp and Zoom features. :tu:

I'm not a huge fan of Browsers since most of them are more focused on searching rather than finding. Many dedicate most of their screen space to "favorites, types, and genres" and only leave a little space to display the actual presets themselves.

GammaWave's patch handling system is fine for now but if there are a lot of presets over time and if they are displayed in a vertical list it will eventually require scrolling up and down to view presets which can be tedious. :)

Thank you for reporting this issue. You are the second person reporting this error with Bitwig by the way. I will look into this and come back to you.
Thanks!

Hi, this looks indeed very interesting. I am also interested in a license.

How about linux support? :)

It's not my top priority right now, but it should be doable since the plugin is JUCE-based.
Are we talking x86_64? What Linux distro and DAW are you using?
Thanks for asking!

Yes, x86_64 would be the perfect architecture. I use Reaper. The most important DAWs on Linux are Ardour, Reaper, and Bitwig. There's more, but if things work there, it will probably work everywhere.

Also, more people use Ubuntu and its derivatives than any other distro. So, it would probably be best to support that, regardless of what I use (Fedora). The libraries are usually backwards compatible in most cases. So, to support the most people possible, you'll want to use an Ubuntu LTS version that has older libraries than the libraries of the oldest distro you want to target (usually Debian). If possible, a couple of versions older. So for example, Ubuntu 26.04 LTS gets released in April of this year. So if you were to build and compile on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS or better Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, that should be old enough to be compatible with most distros, even if they are not Ubuntu distros. That way, you would only need to compile once and yet be able to support the most Linux distros possible.

Check out this website:

Read the developer's interviews to get a good idea as to what to expect when supporting Linux. :)

Thank you for considering us!! :)
