Epic Verb now VST3

This is one of those reverbs that sounds a bit cheesy like a lot of hardware reverbs from the '80s and '90s did. Just like those reverbs, it kinda sounds good in the mix, if a bit "specific". A certain graininess without being outright lo-fi (as opposed to certain famous Alesis units, for example). It fills the gaps well. That said, not to my taste usually.

Now that I think of it. I used to use a free (abandonware, I think) TC Electronics reverb plugin back in the late '00s. It had a quadrant, or something similar, and you could tweak the reverb by "colour". I used it *a lot* back then, together with digitalfishphones plugins (or something similar) and a lot of other free stuff. (Even when I started out, I tried to limit the amount of pirated stuff I used).

Thanks. I finally got it on the third browser. Chrome wouldn't even attempt it. Edge started the DL but wouldn't complete it. Finally got it with Firefox, no problem at all. TBH I didn't even realize I still had Firefox installed!

The reverb is ok. Kind of a one trick pony, in my eyes. All modes sound very similar to me. Plus, it sounds to me like there's a low mid buildup around 250-300hz that I don't care for. I could use it on a send where I could eq it after, but as an insert, it's unusable for me. One of very few plugs from VoS I don't care for. Just my 2 cents.

We all have known Bootsy for years now and he always provided direct Google Drive links to us. So now the same ones downloading every Vibe coded new shiny freebie are complaining this to be suspicious or even malware, did you even scan the files?

Can you tell what OS and web browser you're using?

I've just opened the download page in firefox and edge and downloaded 2.0.1 in both browsers. No problem whatsoever.

epicVerb 2.0.1 minor update

This update includes minor fixes and improvements:

Fix: The Mid/Side control was not working for the LATE algorithm.
Now, when the level of the LATE algorithm is lowered completely, it switches off to save CPU power.
A visual handle indicating the resize option has been added to the lower right corner.


The online manual has been updated as well and an issue causing download problems has been fixed.
