as expected so far what i saw on the walkthroughs is just new UIs with more rompler stuff. this is so annoying. as i said before why not make one UI in future with all basics and you can choose the presets in there without having now 100 UIs for 100 rompler libraries. just boring and sounds/looks like recycling on and on.

Seems like a quality collection of ready made sounds. I use this concept for orchestral sounds rather than synth. From what I have heard from some UVI libraries, the sound quality is def there.

yeah, that's the point of it. dont like it, dont buy it.Caine123 wrote: Fri Apr 10, 2026 8:32 am as expected so far what i saw on the walkthroughs is just new UIs with more rompler stuff.
creating a new UI for each new instrument set is 'recycling' compared to having a single UI used for everything?this is so annoying. as i said before why not make one UI in future with all basics and you can choose the presets in there without having now 100 UIs for 100 rompler libraries. just boring and sounds/looks like recycling on and on.
is it opposite day today?

Could you name the 15 please as UVI themselves state there are 7 - Casio, Oddy, HX-20, Mission6, Kawai, Wavefram and Guitar Synth.234north wrote: Fri Apr 10, 2026 12:43 am Joke? They put 15-ish new instruments in there so about $13 per for that $200.
edit : if its only 7 instruments it works out closer to $30 each.

No, Im a Caine123-idiocy highlighter. Its a busy job.
What's 'constructive' about claiming that creating new stuff is recycling?really weird that constructive criticism is commented with such replies...

The intro price is $299 with 43 products, about $6.95 each. Not bad! But the upgrade price should be a bit less.

Hm, the upgrade pricing for bundle owners still seems to be broken - if you have the sonic bundle, you only get the normal intro price of 299, no matter what. I own everything except the new Casio one - and the individual upgrade price for the Casio one seems to be the best deal right now (79).

My recollection is that there's usually a better upgrade price later on, they do do decent sales once or twice a year.Examigan wrote: Fri Apr 10, 2026 11:41 am The intro price is $299 with 43 products, about $6.95 each. Not bad! But the upgrade price should be a bit less.

It looks like the main difference would be that the new Casio legacy instruments now only have one oscillator versus 2 in the Cameo version. Also, there was the CM version in Cameo that had basic wavetable function (phase distortion & wave selection) on 2 oscillators but now in the new version none of those instruments have that.lotus2035 wrote: Thu Apr 09, 2026 9:10 pm I'm curious how the new Casio synths overlap with the older Cameo collection.
The Cameo version was kind of like a hodge podge of different Casio synths made for sound design while the Casio legacy is based on having one oscillator or multi sample based on 5 particular synths. This new version is more aligned with UVI’s Emulator & Kawai products which focus on more of being an multi instrument+ drum machine conglomerate instead of individual synths that are used for sound design.

UVI is going to start suffering from the NI problem- there is just too much stuff in there collections (and frequent sales)- I upgraded to the total bundle at some no brainer price last year and to be honest I don't think I have even looked at half of the stuff that came with that, getting more 'stuff' seems a long way off unless they just no-brainer me again
X32 and 24C mixers, S88MK3, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6, Pro3, S4, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone, OP1-F, OPXY, TR-1000, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

Seeing the pricing on this makes me glad that I didn't buy anything but Falcon and that was many years ago
If I want something from UVI from a project I just subscribe for a month or two then turn off the sub. You get instant access to everything that way
