Does anyone feel like being extra helpful and posting a link to the eXT project files for any of their songs? I'm hoping to finally spend some time learning eXT over Christmas and would love to have a good start to learn from (one area where FL Studio is really strong is the number of songs which come with and which get posted on the forum - I find I can learn so much faster when I can hear the finished result first and then see how it was created).

Any takers? I can understand that people might not want to give away their secrets and their best results, but how about finding a project you've never finished/liked and posting that up as a "work in progress"?

If you're thinking "this will never work as we don't all have access to the same set of plugins" then don't worry - there's so much freeware out there that pretty much anything someone doesn't have can be replaced with something else. I know the end result won't sound the same (using Synth1 where the source song used z3ta+ for example) but that's not the point really - I just want to get "under the bonnet/hood" to see how a song is assembled/structured/routed in eXT so that I can understand it better myself.

finally i decided to setup my website and there you can find two songs which grew purely in eXT .
the style is ambient-electronica-glitch stuff and made with no exact background purpose other than to practice and create some nice tunes .

material used:

hold:
cameleon5000 , rogue , minerva , 2 x ext sampler (xts)
+ quite a few fx

two alibis:
albino 2 demo , optik , rogue , ixox flute , strings , organized trio , some recorded guitar
+ fx from classic series and IR verb

the version numbers might change

but i'm pretty confident with the results so far.

o.k. - here is a tune I originally did for the cafe-contest in january (it should pretend tobe the soundtrack for a movie-chase) - I didn't get much votes for it as it apparentöly wasn't thrilling enough...

I still thought that the theme in itself is great if maybe not for enhancing the thrill of a chase-scene...

So I started to transform it into a song with my girl-friend back in april - but then I wasn't satisfied with the mix and she wasn't satisfied with her vocals and her lyrics.

I'm about to finish my first TorpedoTorpedo demo now but there was still one tune missing to really fit with the other three tracks I had chosen.

This week I suddenly had the idea to export this tune into eXT for finishing it there - and so I did today.

2 imposcar, 1 zeta, 1 crystal, 1 gen1, one sampler with a sample who cames from an "xt users" but i don't remenber who's name (if any know from who it's comming)and one audio part whith a rapper that i heard on a drum&bass CD.
