Is SA more comparable to ReFX Nexus?abi wrote: Fri Jul 03, 2026 12:01 pm This is in no way comparable to Arturia V Collection. If you want an emulation of a certain synth, you should not look at this. Synth anthology is always more like a workstation that has loads of high quality synth samples. And of course integration in Falcon (albeit a little cumbersome) gives you a universe of a playground for mangling those samples.

I think of it as sort of a IK Syntronik type of deal.billinder33 wrote: Fri Jul 03, 2026 2:04 pmIs SA more comparable to ReFX Nexus?abi wrote: Fri Jul 03, 2026 12:01 pm This is in no way comparable to Arturia V Collection. If you want an emulation of a certain synth, you should not look at this. I would say that Vintage Vault is “UVIs Syntronik” and is also more convincing. SA comes with smaller sample sets but with a nice selection of effects and filters and a convincing concept. I own all of them although Syntronik is not installed as I never used it. I don’t think that I would update Vintage Vault (except there comes an update of SonicBundle), but I always update SA. To me SA feels like an instrument and somehow ergonomic to use. The update prices seem also fair for what you get.Examigan wrote: Fri Jul 03, 2026 3:48 pmI think of it as sort of a IK Syntronik type of deal.billinder33 wrote: Fri Jul 03, 2026 2:04 pmIs SA more comparable to ReFX Nexus?abi wrote: Fri Jul 03, 2026 12:01 pm This is in no way comparable to Arturia V Collection. If you want an emulation of a certain synth, you should not look at this.
