I think we might think differently and we all have different ears, but I'll make this scattershot attempt:
How about "Ommadawn" by Mr. Oldfield?
As for Talk Talk, I'd also recommend their "Laughing Stock" album, but tbh I usually only play two tracks from that.
Um! Maybe "Sound Affects" by The Jam.
Maybe something by Stevie Wonder or The Alan Parsons Project or Steely Dan?
Maybe Prokofiev's Fifth as directed by Ormandy?
