I agree with Lance on the Kontakt browser. It couldn't be any worse.
Also, "preview in context" would be nice when exchanging samples. But uhm, they even left that out on Battery 2.

I'm not too into Kontakt myself. It was hyped as somewhat of a modular sampler when it came out, but it's really nothing special. Mostly I just think it sounds pretty poor. The transposition engine is lame, the independent pitch/time/formant tools sound horrible, the effects are sub-par, and the filters just don't do it for me.
I use Emulator X now, and I like it much more. The transposition sounds great, the filters are awesome, it's got modulation capabilities out the urethra, the effects sound decent and more importantly they run off of the DSP. Okay, it doesn't have the timestretch stuff, but considering how Kontakt's implementation sounds, I don't miss it.
I do think E-mu should release a totally native version of EmuX though.
