Bero, your app looks (http://www.berotracker.de/portal/screenshots.php?action=getshot&img=modulareditor.png&sesid=6872ea2cbcaa2a5a3593114e0d83116441bca3ba2ac46) a lot like Buzz! But thats OK in my book, since Buzz is love!

all is good
bero how about something like this: mid mouse button + drag move around in all (pattern, piano roll, modular) editors (same as left click and drag in modular view).
pattern editor: double left click create c-4 note, single left click select a note, mouse wheel transpose selection.
im too lazy to use keyboard these days.

I'll mess with it more tomorrow.
I Installed it and ran it as a VSTi in a VST Host.
I Loaded an impulse tracker file in it and managed to get it played.
1 Problem though, CPU usage in the host on idle is 85% and this is a 2.6Ghz machine.
A Bug ? Denormal bug ? ...
Now another question, how do I work with bero along with the VST host ?
Does is get synced to the host playing location automatically ? How do I work with it ?
Is there any manual ?

Yeah, that could be the donormal bug.
To control the VSTi version:
Note C = Start
Note D = Stop
Note E = Restart
Note F = Pause
Note G = Continue
As said, the VSTi version is a Pre-Pre-Pre-Alpha version

I tried berotracker very briefly yesterday night (at 1 o'clock in the morning !).
For a "prealpha" version, it's amazing
I didn't test it really thoroughly, but what I seen really impress me. It was a bit tricky to find how to output sound with a VSTi, but after searching a little bit around it seems quite logical
Btw I didn't find how to automate VST parameters, maybe it isn't already implemented ? Or did I missed something ?
Another question (I'm surprised nonbody asked it before
), will it be free ?

Yeah I got itVST parameters are already linkable to track effects and automations. You can find the automation editor in the piano roll editor.
Only thing that bothers me now is that it is difficult to draw envelopes automation with the mouse in the piano roll. You've got to do one click for each note in order to get a pseudo curve.
What would be really cool would be the ability to draw smooth automation curves, with high resolution (ie not related to pattern step number, so parameters will change continuously and not only at each step, if you see what I mean)
