Yes, mentioned on an earlier thread.

Since the recent revamp, FM has become the only mag I will buy on a monthly basis. Some great ideas in there, many of which have patently come from their editors finally getting down with their readers reqs by studying fountains of knowledge/wit/and intellect such as KvR !

I have even forgiven them for using MY idea without any credit (I wrote to them a while back suggesting a
"how did they get that sound" article).

Did buy CM this month though - Eve is too good to miss.

I feel for you Majken - a magazine printed my CD 'Electricky' as 'Electricity'. I wrote the editor and said this may cause a conflict with another band in future, and could I get a retraction or something in next issue? The editor responded that she thought I made 'a spelling mistake on my CD, and took it upon herself to correct it...' Ooops! Oh yeah - and thanks for the 'invisible' retraction as promised in those latter issues... Bitch!

Gabriel interview was a bit blahblah, though.

What an utter piece of crap that interview that was! 7 pages of nothing but plugging his new DVD and videos in general.

Here they were with a man who has more gear than god and all they can talk about is 5.1 ??

Other than that, yeah, FM wins out over CM when I'm strapped for cash and can't buy both.

Oh, no worries. I'm just happy being in the mag at all. Them making up a new name for me just makes me feel special, hehe. And besides, they did actually spell the URL correctly

Are you sure its a bit too 'pro'? After all, wasn't it FM who had to print an apology, a retraction, and side by side comparisons of some articles they printed, after an ex employee admitted to ripping article content straight out of SOS and passing them off to FM as his own!!!

I read SOS every month, but when I used to pick it up just to look through, SOS used to scare the bejeezus out of me... so I started to buy FM, but I realised after a while that I (personally) was generally unhappy with the disc contents, and the amount of articles were too few and the cost was too high - so I stuck with SOS.
