Is ds-404 worth the trouble?

I live in the US and my subscription issue of CM 50 just arrived yesterday. The only store in my area that carries CM dosen't even have issue 49 in yet and probably won't for a week. Now this just seems ridiculus to me. Shouldn't the stores get it a few days after I do?
Oh well, I guess I will just be glad I have a subscription.
