Podium and eXT are the 2 hosts i'm looking at as i jump the good ship Logic .... eXT is ahead at the mo cos i can integrate it with Logic as i port my tracks to MIDI. I luv the look of Podium though - and the Device definition setup is cool ... try it out. Yes, its steep to begin with but dead easy after a while. Why spend hours in one host trying to learn how to do something that is very track/device specific when you can do the same in Podium and transfer that knowledge to anything else once its acquired.

I've been a Podestrian thru the betas and was a very early customer. I think it a great bit of kit.

Whilst the note length query has been answered, wrt to the velocities, Frits has noted this and it may well appear in the next full release - alas it won't be in a demo for a while longer.

I didn't realise the demos were behind in features - maybe this is something Frits needs to look at

the demo is updates at 1.x0 milestones, whilst the registered users get the 1.xy incremental releases. This is by design, and is part of Frits current strategy of keeping the pirates at bay.. It seems to be working at the mo..
