I had the GUI problem with v1.00 in eXT and Tracktion, but unistalling and installing v 1.03 has\fixed the issue for me so far.

I know this might be out of the scope of this plugin, but I was thinking last night that a convolution processor that could crossfade between two (or 4) impulse responses with a fader (or X-Y controller) would be a rather interesting toy indeed...

I got illegal access errors sometimes with some wavs, seems to be randomly. (it rarely happens)
It does works on MiniHost and FL fine, didn't got any fatal error.
Thanks for this update!!

I'm getting exactly the same error in EnergyXT as morelia. All I see is the error dialog when I click on the plug.Wide Boy wrote:Anybody else having similar problems?morelia wrote:This sounds like a really great plug so thank you very much for your hard work. Unfortunately it crashes on my system in both minihost and EnergyXT. I haven't even seen the GUI on my computer as it won't load that far.
Works well in Chainer, Podium and Cubase SX 2.2.

I haven't done it, but I bet it could be whipped up fairly quickly in a modular host! Then again, all 2 or 4 would have to be loaded at the same time, increasing CPU consumption.whyterabbyt wrote:I know this might be out of the scope of this plugin, but I was thinking last night that a convolution processor that could crossfade between two (or 4) impulse responses with a fader (or X-Y controller) would be a rather interesting toy indeed...
Easily done with Convo Boy 1.03 already (for crossfading 2 impulses), though, if you're working with a mono source.

Hi,
I'm not able to reproduce the reported problems on any of the hosts on my own PC. I have made a guess at where the problem could be (but I'm not certain).
A modified version of 'Convo Boy' can be downloaded from the link below.
Link removed
Note: this link does not work with 'save target file'. Just left click to download.
I will be happy to know if this fixed the problem for those that have it.
Cheers

Yeah, that's where I started thinking about it, but that would really be a volume crossfade, whereas an impulse crossfde would quite probably sound different...
Not that it matters appart from the CPU hit; it'd be for weird noises anyways. But it'd be nice to skip the CPU hit. Possibly it could be done in Pristine Space with automation, but I was thinking of something that could be done with a joystick controller 'live'.

I found a problem here.
In FL I have one project that uses two ComboBoys, and when I load the project they both are inactive (no FX at all) until I make their GUIs to show.
Try this:
1) Load a sample on a channel (eg breakbeat)
2) Load one comboboy, load an IR
3) Load a second Comboboy, load a different IR
4) Save the project, Open again and play, you shouldn't hear the comboboys doing anything.
5) Click on them to make their GUIs to appear, you'll notice they start working.
cheers!

Good news!Cordelia wrote:Thanks, Wide Boy! The new version is working fine for me now in FLStudio 5.01.
I'll wait to hear from a few others, if positive, then I'll finalize the fix, make it available in the standard download and mail out the update link to those that registered. I also need to fix it in the save enabled version.
This is correct. Whilst the file path is retained, the file load is currently not performed until the editor is opened. It is the last thing to do after all parameters have been initialized.-SPYRO- wrote:In FL I have one project that uses two ComboBoys, and when I load the project they both are inactive (no FX at all) until I make their GUIs to show.
If it is an issue, I can have a look to changing it in a future release.

I have another build on the table. I have already fixed the second issue and I need some feedback from testing on the first issue. I can probably make a new update available in a day or two.-SPYRO- wrote:Hi
Yes it is an issue, at least for me
anyone else?
