I tried the demo, and was about to buy it when Classic Auto-Filter appeared... which seems to be what I need for now.
Good filter effects seem to be thin on the ground unless you pay top dollar, so the Classic Auto-Filter has come as a great surprise. A very useful plug-in.
But I am still interested in Nitro, so I'm enjoying the feedback here, and I may yet buy it (or quadformage...)

I slightly edited my post Putte
Hopefully, you still completely agree with me
Nice example..
I don't tend to use this type of effect on bass and drums though.. I'll have to post an example on other types of sounds ( synths, pianos, etc.. ) when I get a chance...

Hey Putte,
Nice example mp3 there. I've gotta agree with you on Nitro. Top plug!!
I'm curious, how did you automate the preset changes in that mp3? I can't find a way to do it.

Have any of you used "Analogic Filter Box" that comes with Reaktor? To me that is THE greatest filter plug! Not only does it have amazing modulation/ routing capabilities but it's distortion types are incredible as well

It can happen to you. It can happen to me.
It can happen to everyone eventually.

HI
The very first pre-set is really the only sweeping filter that Nitro has (unless you prog one up yourself) but put this post reverb (preferably a nice plate) and OH MAMA you have a f... off sweeping filtered reverb to die for.
QF is nice but for some reason very little sweeping filters there (and it's no fun to programme!) besides that the free filter is ok but not really comparable, is it?
I would say the Antares filter would be my weapon of choice if it wasn't for that PACE protection crap, now that has a lovely seeping filter and generally has a similar array of 'multi-fx' to nitro.
Flipper.

I was praying you knew the secret method. I'm quite disappointed that there is no way to change presets other than with the mouse. Even midi Program Changes don't work
Ah well, nothing is perfect.... I nearly thought it was though!
Time for an email to PSP I think
