Alesis has the wirst customer service of any company I've dealt with (actually it's Numark which sadly aquired Akai in July). In retail it was a daily thing to deal with, but I don't care how good it looks, I will never buy anything from any Numark holding. I have a QSR and midiverb4 now, they both are great sounding and I like them, but that matters not. The qsr crapped out twice and the second time (even though it was the same problem and with them for a couple months the first time) they didn't cover the repair (but they did promise to, just when they got it they changed their mind) because it was 13 months since the purchase date. They look for loopholes which leads me to believe that they probably look for the cheapist materials as well....BEWARE WHEN DEALING WITH THEM!!!
