nice work fellers
reminds me of some of the pieces on the spawn soundtrack for some reason
nice n dark vibe brought into a more mainstream audience by cypher
and altho i do like both theses artists seperately i wasnt sure how well they would work together.
but im glad they did

I would add a sharp, high tech synth lead for to complete the crushing of one's face, but all in all quite a tasty bit of ambient breaks.

well it varies from track to track. I have lots of tools for drums and tend to mix and match. For this track it was predominantly RMIV, but I also use Reaktor, DR-008 and on occasion Stylus RMX (although that can feel like cheating).Philly wrote:Hey CypherOne, out of curiosity, what do you use to make your beats?
[edit] I forgot PhatmatikPro too, always fun to mangle a loop or two

Pretty kick ass.
It might raise some tention and build if it had a lead synth mixed over the top starting somewhere around the middle of the track or so. Much as it's a shame to hide any of the beautful beats.
2 thumbs up.

I feel quite overwhelmed with the great feedback on this and some great pointers given here and there
I certainly hope to get together with Cypher more in the future, but time will only tell

Definitely up for doing this again mate. I think we should write a different track next time, I think people will get fed up if we keep making exactly the same track every six months...Mystahr wrote:
