EVE public beta 1.8.20 Filter updated!

ok liqih,

as the new filter module is currently set up as a send in the modulator section, it, like the current effects in EVE, only *adds* to the raw sound. ie- you hear a minimoog raw sawtooth mixed with a filtered one, instead of filtering the complete raw sound. didn't check the eq or phaser yet.

mm.. yes, I guess I need to change that,

what if you set send and modulator gain at max,
and then lower a lot the volume slider?

Not exaclty a bug, more of anoyans, is that a blank present has voices B-C mapped to channel 2 instead og being on 1...didnt figure straigt out why I got no noise from voices B-C

did you tried the 1.8 small bank?

Yeah I tried the bank, tried my most to break the plug, but it seems fine, one thing also that might do with some improving is the tool-tip, so it says about everything, not just some things.
As some thing arent really clear.
Like the mod filter, sometimes there are values under the knobs and sometimes there are thing I can change , like the sync.

I have noticed that if you turn the Freq knob down to zero on the filter I get a very harsh clicking sound. But when I turn it back up it goes away.

And the sound is very crackly almost like an old vinyl record playing in the background(best way I can describe it)

Just thought you should know.

it's mostly with the Filter LFO on, right?

it's missing the limit for lowest frequency,
if you raise the Freq a little it should cure the beep, right?

Yes that clipping click disappears if I raise the freq a litle.
Also Eve never seems to remember what bank I used. even when I try to use the Default option......

that's not a bug is a limitation of the beta, <grin>

ok liqih,

the new filter routing works fine for me. I get alot of artifacts on the filter though at all stages of opening, with and without LFO on.

The resonance is very mellow on the LP12- it is nice though.

I like the new phaser better than the old one- sounds more like the phasers I know and like .

Thanks for addding the 'silence' in the root directory .
