They are all at 120 BPM.

Again, they are ROYALTY FREE.

Have fun.

Keep up the good work! And keep the Classics alive! I will be the first to download your VST of The Histories. I am presently working on Suetonius' Lives of the 12 Ceasars for Wusikstation and ST2, with apologies to Robert Graves.

True, but it don't get no phatter than the Breakbeats in Marcus Aurelius' Meditations. And Thucidides? Funky fresh! But for my money, I'll take Anaximines meets Thales in Dub.

I always thought the Anaximander/Anaximines thing was real similar to the Chemical Brothers/Dust Brothers thing.

But Thales!!! Whoo! None of those posers could rock w/the T-man (until the tragic well incident of course).

But seriously folks, check out the loops at http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=76123 Very different from the loops of herodotus to be sure, but QUALITY. Solon himself would be proud

In a little known early draft of the Republic, Plato actually had the purveyors of live drum loops ranked above the Guardians and just below the Philosophers as having through their innate grasp of the funk a true balance of the virtues in their souls and were therefore closer to justice within the soul. It was later in Aristotle's "On Breakbeats and Vinyl Grooves" that this connection was severed and lost to medieval scholars.

So, to be closer to justice within the soul, download the loops of Herodotus. Free Archemedian 303: Virus Edition with each download.

On this note, check out W.K.C. Guthrie's 'A few notes concerning some obiter dicta in Iamblichus' "On Phatness and Funkiness"' In the Proceedings of the Aristotelian Society vol.112 pp. 30-67.
