Not entirely true, but close! It's very standard, does a decent job with documents, fast -- oh, and recovering files from a corrupted .ZIP archive is a hell of a lot more reliable than most other methods, especially when spanned floppies are involved. I once lost about 45 MB of text files due to split .TGZs, back in the 80's, when that was a lot of data.My spies inform me that Jens wrote:(actually .zip is bullshit for everything...)
