Hey Beardedone
I am not upset and I am sure William won't be either...
I am surprised you find it hard to modulate things interestingly. There is so many Modulation possibilities in the Synth it is unreal.. Try setting the Mod1 or 2 in the Wave Seq and then drawing a pattern of any type and then assigning it to a filter or other param in the matrix...
Man ...you can get lost here. Drawing Modulations Patterns.
Maybe some of the other guys can chime in on what they think of the Modulation stuff here. Myself .. I Love it all ... and i still learn new things Daily ... that is what is cool and keeps me interested.
the 700+ patches in the full version really show it....
We have alot of Synth stuff as well as real instruments.
Its made to be a bit of everything.

I just wish i could fully Demo it.
Thanks for your comments btw :-)

:help:

I am definitely not getting the interface at all then. I found the Wave Seq but I am not clear on whatparameter Mod 1 and 2 refer ro and how to assign parameters in the mod matrix - I had the same problem understanding this in Albino and Delta. Give me a few days and I might be able to figure some of this out after I read the Manual.

We are also doing a new manual that will apply to Manystation. Check it out here: http://link.wusik.com/?13

Thanks William! All kinds of stuff I didn't see!

I was trying to implement Paul's suggestion with the WusikStation demo sounds and was not getting any results with the Wavseq window. I don't see how it connects with the mod matrix.

..great to hear there´s a demo :) ..but maybe it´s possible to show sounds in form of a soundset to make a whole tune with it..then it´s easier to compare....maybe the way USB was doing it with Plugsound Free..that means one drumkit, bass, pad epiano, guitar, etc...

IMHO the presets are so cool in Manystation that changing params hardly seems necessary at the moment. I expect I'll get into it sometime, but for now the guys made such a good job of creating presets, there's stacks to use just as they are!

im not very into samplers and synths and all.. so excuse me if this question is a bit lame. I was looking at a VST sampler that i could use. One to take care of the sample bank i got to download from samplfusion. And to take care of other music production needs (i dont do music, but very often get midi files where im handed the responsibility of sounddesign. )

Is manytone a sampler ? or is it more on the lines of hypersonic ? I really dont know.

thanks

Sorry for the delay sidhu ... I missed your post somehow....
ManyStation is a Sampler and a Synth.
Your bank from samplefusion ... It Depends on the format on whether you can use it in ManyStation... it probably would need converting, but ManyStation does come with 1.5 gig of Incredible samples of real instruments and synths.
The list is on our website of the included sounds and samples.
Also you can load your own samples and either play them as they are or use the ManyStation to Synthesize them.... Hence you can turn a plain Acoustic or Electric Guitar into an Incredible Guitar Synth!

Also i just noticed you are from India ... We currently have a fellow in India working on an Indian ethnic Soundset addon for ManyStation. (We still need to finalize this deal ... but it looks good so far.)

Thanks

No worries bout the delay. Am I to understand that manytone will function as a syth withought any loaded samples ? i.e. it has it's own soundgenerators ? Or is that it has the capacity to manipulate samples in a way that lead it its; synth capabilities ?

I undrstand now that manytones would need samples to work as a synth. The samplesusion samples are all in wave format (44.1/16) and they require one to assenble them within a samples themselves. What conversion would i be needing?

hi sidhu
Besides samplesets like our Real Guitars and Basses and Cellos etc, ManyStation has what is called a Waveform folder. This contains Raw wavs that function as Oscillators. It includes about 15 or so pure waveforms like Saw, Pulse, Triangle, SinePulsePW etc etc. So it truly is a Synth as well as a Sampler.

As for your own Samples ... your waves from samplefusion will easily be able to be loaded in ManyStation. Our Manual fully explains this and makes this easy for you to do. Also there is even a Free mapper available from jtxx000 of this KvR forum. As with any Sampler ... you just need to Map your own samples out on the keyboard and then you can load them and make and save new Presets / Banks with them.

I'll actually post a sticky about the jtxx000 program soon in the ManyTone Forum.

I hope this answers your Questions .,.. It is a very extensive Sample / Synth Engine.
Presently our Demo is not ready but you can try the Demo from www.wusik.com of Wusikstation as it is the same Engine with different soundsets.
Our only Product Demos at the moment are all the mp3s on our website and here in our forum in the Station Radio thread.
Thanks

... in addition to the free mapper to map your own waves, you can use Extreme Sample Convertor or Awave to convert almost any other format (e.g. giga, SF2, Sampletank) into wusikstation/ manystation format.

Post

thank you. Ill look at the wusikstation demo. Are wusikstation and manytone the same instrument with different skin and sifferent sounds ? or is there more to it ?

sidhu

Post

yes. they are the same engine, but different licenses and different sounds (samples and presets). After you buy one of them, you can use that engine to play all the sounds from both. (e.g. you can just use Manystation in combination with the VOX'd soundset, and you can use zvon's soundsets with both, etc.).

Post

But one needs to buy both inrder to use the particular sounds.. i think i get it.

Yes. Manystation comes with a set and Wusikstation comes with a different set. But as far as I know you can buy the additional (Wusikstation) sets, such as VOX'd or The Second Wave if you have at least one of them ...
