HI
Just gave this a run out in Orion and first the bad news - it locked up my machine!
This was the side chain instance - the GAC-1 was fine and with the routing possibilities produced some nice results.
Anyone else using Orion - perhaps its just my set-up or a bug?
Flipper.

Remember you need a track with four channels to be able to use the stereo side-chain plugin. I am not sure about Orion but not all hosts support that yet.original flipper wrote:HI

HI
That is probably what did it!
When I opened the sc version independent of a track it was OK - I only use Orion for testing new vst's in and don't know myself if you can open 4 tracks!

Just want to add my 2 cents. This thing is a true swiss army knife kind of plugin. It can do nearly everything, including creative abuse of loops/synths!
Try it out, you get 2x eq, 2x superb compressors, a de-esser, a very good gate and brickwall limiter too!
Cheers!

woah! it's the first Kjaerhus plugin that I cannot afford
bad news for me, but great news for Torben!! I always thought your products were very underpriced compared to the competition - surely this is a sign you are getting the recognition you deserve.
Amazing product Torben, you should be proud, congrats!

Actually there is no separate limiter component AFAIK but I guess the two compressors can get pretty close to limiting if configured with that in mind.bmanic wrote: Try it out, you get 2x eq, 2x superb compressors, a de-esser, a very good gate and brickwall limiter too!
The dual compressors are doing a nice job on some of my instrumental tracks. My favorite Eq and Compressor combos are certainly getting a run for their money.

The discount is golden, but in the EU there's 25% VAT added
... (Actually that means that we pay in Euros what the discount price in USD would be). But of course the Canadians and Aussies don't need to worry about that

actually, i'm locked out of my ISP email at the moment so I didn't get the customer discount email, but Torben PM'ed me to set me straight
i can afford this one
please note i intended nothing negative about my comments - i'm on a limited budget, but my opinion and experience with Torben's products is that they are all worth this much money, in particular when you check the competition. I was just saying i'm glad to see him charging more. With people like Waves charging what they do for their mediocre plugins, my humble opinion is that a guy like Torben deserves to be rolling around in heaping piles of million-dollar bills

No it's not. It happens for every new release and has been mentioned before with GPP-1. Plus I think it might be good for others to know that Torben tries to look out for existing customers. Might help sweeten the deal.S_A_P® wrote:shhhhhhh that is private info

I don't know anything about it - what's the deal?shamann wrote:No it's not. It happens for every new release and has been mentioned before with GPP-1. Existing customers get a time-limited extra % off the intro price. Don't remember the exact %, but something like 20% off the introductory price of 20% off.jens wrote:I don't know anything about it - what's the deal?
It's a very generous offer, and if you get one Kjaerhus golden plugin, you'll have the opportunity to save on future additions to the series. I have nothing but good things to say about Torben's customer service.

sounds indeed good to me
I'm only wondering if it applies to me - I'm one of Theo's customers
