It's a shameless and obvious ploy to divert attention from the free moogerfooger 4'33". And you'll go blind if you try to read the original post.

I would imagine that a lot of compromises would have to be made, to achieve such a low price. It's true that labor rates are much higher in the countries that made the Moog and the Synthi, but I don't think labor costs explain the entire price difference. I think you have to start substituting parts, and most likely with somewhat inferior substitutes. The real wood case of the MiniMoog would probably be replaced with contact-paper stretched across some material that was really cheap, for example. The pots would probably be replaced with cheaper pots, etc.
Like Sickle said, if this is real, and you buy one of these, start sampling it as soon as you plug it in.
You may not have long to enjoy your newfound toy.
