Not quite sure if that dig was aimed at me or not, but given the fact that I work 60+ hours per week, commute 3 hours per day, and have a 15 month old daughter to take care of, you couldn't be further from the truth!

I like on song by VNV Nation, cant remember what it is, but i think it is the first track on their remixy thing or summink.

The reset - turgid EBM with futurist/facist stylings.

One of the albums (an old one) that me mate has, I swear I can here a GM drum kit on one of the songs!!

i think you're refering to the "Cold" remix.

I actually like some of VNV's stuff. I like how they like to blend industrial, rave, and sometimes psytrance. Yeah, the vocals do suck ass though.

As for BT,every interview I've ever read or seen of him he took me as kind of a cocky little bastard with elitist views on his style and gear. I even read he was writing a book on the art of "stuttttter". That said, I think some of his music is really good(the songs "never gonna come back down" and "smartbomb" come to mind, but the stuff that's labeled "progressive" I just find boring as shit!
Anyone know what the latest scoop on Funker Vogt is? They're one of those groups who's sound for the most part is technically unimpressive, but they're songs are groovy as shit!!

HEY! that hidden bit with assemblage 23 was awesome to watch on DVD.
OK. Maybe its just because I was in the crowd at that concert and f**king loved it all. It was a lot better live, haha.

I agree. The guy is the epitome of pretentious sometimes. I always figured that a guy that pretentious in interviews would write better music. His Emotional Technology album does sound kinda interesting at times but it is soo processed in every possible way that it sounds kinda cheesy and almost creepy in a super synthetic way. Even the rain and the train samples are supposedly beat-detected and that's just weird. You figure that a guy like that would be writing microtonal music filled with mixed-meters etc..

well put. it's all about the "Gunmen". "Technically unimpressive", cheesy crappy lyrics put eerily catchy.
