you don't get it.controlling or recording parameters of Cubase such as volume, pannning etc it's different from trying to assign 2 vst plugins to your midi.Fruity does all this is a sec, left click, assign, done. Don't get me wrong I use cubase a lot, I love "her"...
please cut the crap and tell me if there is a way to do that!> man...u suck!

Just wondering... which MIDI bank library are you using? The one that came with the device? I ask 'coz when I was using the UC-16 (which I ended up getting rid of in the end 'coz it was just too clunky) I found a better librarian somewhere on the net, but, damn it, I can't remember what it was called! The great thing about it was the gui... it had a photo-realistic representation of the device itself which made things real easy when assigning knobs or MIDI learning etc. ie; you'd just have to select the knob that you wanted on the UC-16's software gui, then the relevant knob in your selected plugin, repeat the process til done & then save as a preset etc, easy!
This is probably no help at all, sorry?
Just google Evolution MIDI librarians or something & you might find it!

DRAT!! I have been at an environmental discovery camp with my daughter for a few days and I miss this golden opportunity for slander and mayhem.Lunch Money wrote:Even non-"Cubase sucks" hosts can't do it all, so in this case it's not fair to blame the "Cubase sucks" host.
Sorry...
don't respond to me. It's been a few weeks since calling it a "Cubase sucks" host, and I had forgotten how fun it was.Especially with SJ in the thread.
If you have to ask, you can't afford the answer

No it doesn't work by left click. Cubase operates under the assumption that the plugin uses its own MIDI learn, which 90% of them do. They don't duplicate what should be in the plug already. Anything left over has to be taken care of via the GR, which is obviously more cumbersome.deadmichaelp wrote:you don't get it.controlling or recording parameters of Cubase such as volume, pannning etc it's different from trying to assign 2 vst plugins to your midi.
