Great idea
2 days is too short.
Give people 7 days at least.
Especially to those weekenders with day jobs.(i'm one of them)
Did I already said GAC-1 is great?
I guess I did... but here it is again.

I'm finding its hard to make presets for this..
sounds big and punchy on some drumkits/plugins.. but overloaded and distorted on others.. and completely odd on some.. volume is poo.

I added a couple of mine.. nice plug this! Whats the chance of upward expansion as a future option, as well as downward compression..?

Sorry, but it's only for the GAC-1.S_A_P® wrote:can I submit a patch and get a free GCO instead? If not I understand, but the GAC kicks major ass...
Give people 7 days and they will do nothing the first 5 daysAndrewSimon wrote:Great idea

Downward compression is what it already got (standard). Upward compression can be acomblished in some of the parallel processing modes but not upward expansion (supported by GCO-1 BTW).platinumears wrote:I added a couple of mine.. nice plug this! Points won’t be added together for a contender so it is still the best patch that will win.pheeleep wrote:What's up with posting several patches? I thought it was one patch per entry, according to the contest rules

well ... for a laugh mines up there now too ...
... personally cant see the point of bread-n-butter patches for a plug like this since id say you should match the settings to the material (i know presets can be used as a starting point but ... ) ...
... so (as you might expect) i just tried to wring as much destructive dirty noise out of the thing as i could ...
... coolcool plugin you got there torben

so we are allowed to enter more than one preset???? If thats the case whats stopping me from making about 50 and saturating the contest?

Exactly, it was one patch per person as stated in the contest rules. Now peeps are posting live 5 or 6 each, and the date the contest ends has been pushed a couple days.. Well, whatever's clever I suppose.. but personally, I think that those that posted more than one patch should just be evaluated on one of them.. Judges should randomly pick one out of the 5 patches and judge that one..
It's okay though, it's a bit irritating but so are many things in life

heheh, my mastering preset works on all source material and makes it shine!! no work needed, exept perhaps controlling loudness with the comp1 gain knob. I tried it with a lot of different tracks and the result was instant punch and highend defentition.

Humph. My mastering preset adds punch and definition, AND widens the stereo image..
