I am happy to see this and hope more sample/ freeware devs will follow.
I hate it when the wonderful, generous people providing us with free samples and apps have to suffer for their generosity and pay extra for bandwidth. This way we can at least all share the bandwidth required for downloading the files.

Hey,
Im running OS X and always shied away from .torrent files (more out of ignorance - I thought it was just a Windows thing) until tonight...
Thanks so much for the heads up these sound wonderful and as mentioned its great that the author wont get hammered with extra bandwidth costs for sharing...
Thanks peeps!
Dave

Ah good god, samples recorded in a Swedish church. I so desperately wish I wasn't on a 56k. My frayed boot lace would shunt data along faster.

the frontpage now says it will be up soon. Btw. anyone know of a complete set of patches in a common format (like kontakt, giga, sfz, shortcircuit)? Most of the sounds are very simple to map, but some of them have quite some velocity layers and I'm lazy...playmuzic wrote:too bad i'm 2 years late for the great stuff

Or your internet provider is throttling all P2P bittorrent streams.Jafo wrote: Grr... lousy 30 kB/sec... need more seeds! Or more high-speed prevalence...
Comcast recently got caught doing this and is getting trashed even by Congress for assuming everyone involved with P2P are MPAA/RIAA pirates....

It's likely, as I'm downloading both packages now at a total of 150-170 KB/s. When I'm finished, I'll seed those for a couple of days.timobrien wrote:Or your internet provider is throttling all P2P bittorrent streams.Jafo wrote: Grr... lousy 30 kB/sec... need more seeds!
