May I ask what format ZGR is?
There are 3 kinds of people:
Those who can do maths and those who can't.

Zero-X groove format. It's supported by BeatQuantizer, BeatCreator, BeatSlicer and FL Studio.

Thanks, dhanjit.

Yes the FL Slicer uses pretty much the same .dll as beatcreator :) – the zgr will load up in the slicer and set the markers correctly for using the wave, rather than the straight slice, that would be wrong for the file as it would make too many slices.

Anyone had a go with any of the other formats?

I like many of these sounds, as always, Spe3d. But I think for many Sascha is right, I mean it that way: I made some mp3-s out of otherwise useless noise and put them at Spe3d's website. While doing them I thought "wow this is exactly what vurt needs". But after 2 hours I thought, well, it's just what I want for some song, and vurt will surely make his own.
(No this is not to get "ey Georgieman your samples aren't that bad", it is actually what I mean  ). But the best is simply putting things up and people decide what to do.

Personally I prefer the samples and soundfonts. Though there is nothing wrong with creating a variety of stuff.

Oh by the way thanks very much for the rain. :)

Thank you guys – well as you probably guessed I am getting the sections in place at AudioShots for samples, loops, One Shots plus a format like sfz or something a bit later. Each section will start with one example – I get an idea from feedback here, by email and pm, this influences the direction of each of the sections and what they will contain – probably quite a bit of variation – some of my stuff is really really bizarre though :) but other things will be dry as a bone for a wider audiance.

Best regards,

Peter
