Most sf2 players will also load the .gig format native to Gigastudio, you might want to give it a try.

Try Rene's sfz+ player - I am pretty suyre it reads .gig files. If not, you will have to wait for someone else - I'm not terrible familiar with the sf format.

vurt, why don't you grab the Kontakt version, there is a folder with 24-bit wav samples. Take these and map them in your sampler of choice
BTW, lovely samples. Im a sucker for this type of thing
Thanks

Some developers use the monolith kontakt format which is all in one.

Not us though - we believe in open source so you can go in and have fun with the samples. So long as its within the license and you don't redistribute them.op519 wrote:Some developers use the monolith kontakt format which is all in one.

Thankyou so much Alan, you've really made my day. The samples are not perfect, but they are certainly beautiful.
This musicbox has a wonderful dreamy quality to it, and I have little doubt that some of the music which will be made with it may cause some people cry.
Bravo.

I like it - and abused it here, quick short demo with drums (care of RM4 and effects)

This is a very nice little beauty - many thanks, Alan!
I somewhat hate all sorts of monolithic or closed formats. I'm an occasional sample mangler myself, and I think in case I purchase/licence a sample library it should be up to my taste what I'd be doing with the individual samples.
