Ha ha!
Mr. Dave Ojo has sent me a more "PC" version. Maybe I'll use that for the "family friendly" BG...

Hello Jack,
Finally got time to try your plugins! As you said this is a bit of a one trick pony but it does the job. The GUI is seriously cool too!
Of the effects you've released so far though, Bitbasher is by far my fave! Really good for filthy lofi glitch stuff when played up front and great for adding a little something to drum tracks when used as an insert at low levels. Cool stuff so far Jack, keep 'em coming!
I've got a couple of tips for you about the plugins too, but I'll tell you over at "The Hellhole"...

ezeeboogie, sinkmusic, thanks for the compliment on BitBasher! i have to agree, it's my favorite so far too. GlitchGirl was made really just to mimic "one effect" that i was having a problem getting to work elsewise, hence it's "one trick pony"-ness.
Bunnyboy, sorry about that, I'll have to notate "not worksafe" next time i use a gui like this.

Though now I really am wishing I'd done a better photoshop on that.

I still don't know what's going on with your dilemma. I mean, as long as you just put GLITCHGIRL.DLL and GLITCHGIRL.DAT into your VST root directory (without creating a subdirectory for it) the plug should be recognized. Does Cubase offer a "full rescan" instead of just a "fast scan" or "standard scan"?technoforum wrote:anyone else having problems with c'base sx1 (xp)..? sx1 even doesn't SHOW the plug in its pluginlists. yes, i did take care that the subfolders are also installed *g*
This is disheartening, though admittedly you're the only unlucky one so far...
