Thanks for the amp sims, they sound really bad ass on my 303. But, as with most amp sim vst's, when I crank the filter up at high resonance to create that infamous acid squelch the sound will become muddled and the high squeal is replaced by soggy bottom. The only amp sim not doing this is the new version of cortex. I would like to see your amp sims do the same. Do not get me wrong your amp sims sound great for a variety of purposes but there is nothing like a nice distorted acid squelch
Cheers
Rob

The audio controlled synths are probably the most useful of this type of plugin I've used. And I am pretty sure I've tried them all. Thanks a lot.

thanks a lot.
I use a lot GBBS: one of my favorite and maybe the most amazing and musical VSTI-FX I have. It's really a pleasure to play real instrument with your synths.I was thinking to buy the two others this summer.
Good luck for your new projects !

p.s. I've just recently compiled a 'clean' bank from the default bank and jeffs bank for free-amp SE. If I add some of my own sounds I'd like to offer this 'clean' bank of guitar sounds to other users.

If you have any presets or banks to share for FrettedSynth's products, please email these to FrettedSynth.
Yes please if you have presets or banks for any of the Fretted Synth Audio plugins, I would like to see that they are shared with ALL. (would also love to hear the tones you all create) Please email them to frettedsynth [at] att.net ,replace [at] with @
And please give a big thanks to asseca for the building of my new web page's, the offer of hosting the presets, banks and for all the support he gives to many people out there, Jorgan's wonderful (energyXT) tutor site to name just one.

When the bottom end of FreeAmpSE starts to get soggy (soggy that’s a good way to put it) please try to turn the Chub control on both the Amp and Overdrive down, this should help some? I do understand though what you are saying and am working hard on the new amps to rectify this and many other issues?
About Cortex? I say use it too, I have great respect for helium (I think I got the developers name right there, if not sorry). I have followed it since very early releases of guitifier to present Cortex. What sets Cortex aside compared to most other VST amp-sims to me is? Its not yet another emulation marketing scam to say look at me I can do what someone else has already done and profit from it.
He actually wants to try to create something new (silly guy).

Thank you Damian for the understanding of my decision to change to all freeware. Thanks also for the praise of the usefulness of these plugins. Hope you enjoy the extra ones as much?
(OK now you can call me silly) As far as donations go at this point (please read the about box on Free Amp SE) there are many in more need then I at this point of my life, Someday I may again charge for my work but for now it is for All to benefit from, musicians and those in need alike. (damn they sound kind of the same anyhow)
