Just write some music every day. No matter how much, and if only a bar. By 'discovering' music for yourself you develop your own 'dialect' in writing as well as production.
Ultimately you end up with a large toolkit of methodologies that only you use in that form.

So basically your style comes all by itself, as long as you don't try to 'imitate' particular artists, and rather incorporate the essence of a style, instead of just somebody's interpretation of it.
