Very much agree with this! It's too loose for percussive sounds but with high damping it's good for synths pads, vocals and anything non-transient heavy. I also think it might be good for overall glue in mixes (not fully tried yet).

(this one also sounded decent for the most part).
This however I do not agree with at all. :) The cakewalk reverb sounded horrible in all situations.. even by that times standards. IMHO!

Oh, please do. With polylines and modulation for polyline points. Would be wicked to hear that! :)

Yes, Aleksey, you do. In fact I demand it :-)

BTW - where is this Rayspace - I can't find it?

Iwas working with Impulse Modeler over the weekend (actually it was having fun with me - I'm an IM beginner!) and wished it was a VST plugin where I could move walls and emitters and receptors around in real time (then freeze it maybe).

Put me on the customer list for this new thing too!

I think it would be awesome to combine IM and a plugin that does the same thing (but of course in lower resolution) in real-time and then, as kylen said, be able to freeze the results and free up CPU. Or maybe you could integrate IM+Pristinespace in a clever way while also providing a realtime, non-static, ray trace engine (like RaySpace, which is kind of alive and modulating).

Heard this thing while visiting bManic. I have to agree with about anything he said. Interesting plugin indeed, just needs some refinement. Especially in the area of having more rays and some more control to make it smoother...

Aleksey really should surprise us with his take on this - he's already providing about the best plugins in every category he's done so far, so a reverb in this vein would most likely wipe the floor with most of the competition :)

it's too expensive :(

I'd like to be able to assign multiple input sources and place them in different locations relative to the listner. That would be the true deal...! The plugin itself actually sounds pretty good, except for that annoying buzz.

Yes! Very good suggestion also! This would absolutely kill! :)

I guess at the end of the day, there is nothing quite like a little TC lovin.

Indeed.. that is the "holy grail" for realistic non-convolution reverbs. Jmh, Kingston and myself got a full dose of that lovin while demoing a TC 6000 system at the university. I tell ya.. it's not healthy, not healthy at all! :?

Sigh... I was trying to repress those TC memories!!! :D

Multiple input sources would be killer on Rayspace, but with the CPU consumption it already has... at least, it oughta be a separate version so people wouldn't have to pay for features they might not want or need. But a great idea still.
