sony/riaa did a crack down on the sites that were hosting the leaked cd, but the tracks are probably still floating around on p2p. when it looked like the cd would never get released, i downloaded it from one of the sites, shortly before they had to take them down. they really are great versions.

yeah, i must say, im glad that i'll be able to have both versions of the cd. though i view the upcoming official release as the "alternate" version.dusted william wrote:yeah and now it would be cool to have both versions:)
apparently the original producer has said that the tracks that were leaked werent even the ones that he had last worked on. so epic had already been making some changes even before the leak happened. but the leaked tracks are as close to the true original album as we are going to get.
which one will actually be better has yet to be seen, but this remake has a hell of a tough act to follow.
too bad they just didnt release a double cd that had both versions.
