Has anyone got it running yet?

Does it have spyware...?
Copy protection?
The free Flashget version also contains the Cydoor spy, so you should ignore this crap and get something else.

Try LeechGet perhaps... spy/ad clean and free for personnal use.

I suspect anyway that the Prop server doesn't support resuming so it's probably useless to use a DL manager.

Actually the Props site does support Opera's download resume. Second session and I'm down to 15 hours on cable modem. Then to figure out the image burn.....ooops sorry back up to 18 hours....no wait 20 hours. Screw it. I've got enough 303 emulators and tons of drum samples. Nice gesture however, very generous.

Remember to set your screen resolution to 640x480 before booting this up :P

Holy Sh*t you're right. I still have the 2.0 demo installed and it's almost useless at a higher resolution. Strike three. :P

I've got it loaded into Project 5 v2 but when I click on record on the transport it just plays the song but doesn't lay down an audio track????

That's correct.
All Rewire does is route the audio from the slave app to the host app.
It's up to the user to work out how to record that audio in the host app.

Strike four....no ASIO (for me anyway.) It was fun having a little play about, but after 10+ hours to eventually download it, i no longer have it. :P

So what's the point of rewire if you can't record what goes into the mixer? Without that it's just a toy. No wonder I never use it.

You can export/render rewire channels to WAV like any other audio track or VSTi in the host.

Post

Then why, when I press record on the transport, doesn't it record? It just plays (yes I have armed it etc). It automatically creates a track when I open rewire instrument so I would think it's supposed to do something. What do I need to do to make it record into the track?

Post

Sorry, I'm not familiar with Project5, but in CubaseSX and Cubase VST you can make an audio track of the rewire-channel like you would make an audio track from a VSTi-channel. Just export/render/audio-mixdown (or whatever it is called).
The Rebirth song itself has to be created in Rebirth (not in the host which should be clear).
