Hi friteuse,
I definitely recommend to check the UAD stuff for yourself in a store or so. Quite some people love this stuff a lot while some others are unimpressed. They are of hi quality but in the end it's still a matter of taste.

thanks, fritzman, good idea. In times of everywhere internet we sometimes forget the possibility to go to a store...
But anyway, if someone owns an UAD and PSP/Sonalksis I would like to hear what differences there are in which way, or even for what purposes they prefer which comp...
