How is Tracktion workin out for me? Pretty damn well. Well over 2 years of abuse and it never let me down. NO corrupt projects, only 1 crash that I can remember (sampletank1) and its a joy to use. Also it made me rich.

Signing contracts and selling my music of course. How else are you supposed to get rich nowadays?

Personally I sell human body parts on the black market.

Any links to where your music is being sold? I'd love to check it out.

I've been testing out Sonar, and I must say I do like it. So much so that it has become first place. I will try out tracktion though (i'm being lazy, tryna figure out how to route my new mixer properly!!!). Anyways, i'll check it out. This very well may be do or die right here between Sonar and Tracktion.

Well, i've been at it for thre past few days. Sonar SE mostly I mean. I've been running Sonar SE, Live lite, and Tracktion. I've mostly been messing with Sonar, trying to take it one at a time.

My impressions are that it is quite a good Host indeed, but one big problem I have is the whole VST implementation. FL makes it so easy to opop up a VSt and get playing, but this damn demo doesn't even come with the adapter! Even then you have to do all the shit to pull up a simple VSTI. Click on the FX, go to the box, open your VST(I), Open both a midi and audio track to control it, etc. Other than that I think ti is quite good. A littlemore play with it then i'm on to tracktion. :)

well ... inserting a plugin with T2 is a piece of piss ... drag-drop-select ...

(BTW - doesnt it irritate you that fl-studio doesnt see subfolders in your VST directory ??? )

I don't really have any issues with FL, I just throw allll my VST's into the FL VST folder and i'm ready to go. :)

guess it depends on how many VSTs you got ... with my (even now its reduced) arsenal searching through an alphabetical list of mixed up effects and instruments with no subfolders is a pain in the arse ... one of the reasons that every time i download an fl-studio update it gets binned within days ...

I agree one thousand percent. At one point my collection of VST's was all in the same folder, but it got out of control. So I organized them in to instruments/effects and different sub-categories for each. Now I find things much faster.
