snooky if you need to compare just go and do it yourself - nobody has all the reverbs here so tests are compromises, and even if someone had access to all the gear some of the tests would still be compromises.
Every review and test requires a certain amount of common sense from the reader, truth about these things is subjective.
that Behringer reverb sounds good IMHO no matter what you or I think about hifiboom, and I think he has proved that with his demos.
Shouting stupidities and disrespecting someone who just presents his opinion isn't the kind of valuable input I visit KVR for.

There are 3 kinds of people:
Those who can do maths and those who can't.

What difference does that make? You are claiming that this unit is better than many units you don't own, or have every heard. It's just a giant ball of contradiction.
Outrageous! Impressive "review" indeed.

Hey snooky, you are truely the most stupid guy on KVR I have ever seen...
You lack logic, ratio and decency and spam the forum with senseless comments...
"let's give him support" ???? what the f. are you talking about ?
From the very beginning you invaded this thread with absolutly nonsense and aggressive comments.
dismissed! I'll call you stupi-snooki from now on.

All you who support this likkle hifiboom guy are obviously retarded as well, it's just fanboism at work, nothing of worth here - just plain and utter shite, me being the only sencible member in this discussion.
I hope that you will all come to your sences, but right now I see little hopes for the likes of you people.
what a bunch of noobs and wankers.
sheesh.
hifi, you're now muted.

I tried to tell him, guess that behringer is blocking his one neuron from recieving any information.Sammas wrote:hifiboom wrote: Most off you do NOT own the UNIT and you seem to be not able to judge from any audio demo how good or bad a reverb is...

To be honest, Hi-Fi Boom started this thread with a view to enlightening some people to a Berhinger unit that actually doesn't sound like shit. Yes hard to believe I know he he....
I don't think it's fair people giving him so much crap over it. From what I've heard of his mp3's it certainly showed the unit in a new light for me. I hate Berhinger because they are cheap shit and copy other manufacture's, but the fact is that this unit does sound pretty decent.
His testing isn't 100% scientific...not even close...but close enough to show what this unit is capable of. I just think some of you are being very aggressive

Maybe I overestimated the haters when calling for some common sense- if reading is difficult, thinking might just be impossible.I will not say that this unit sounds better than a real TC M5000 or a Lexicon 960L or 480, because I do not own one.

I think, there is no scientific way of comparing two different reverb units.Spaceman Sounds wrote: His testing isn't 100% scientific...
? I may be wrong....
And I have done some audio examples without any liability. Just wanted to capture the overall sound of the Quantec with the Behringer unit... if it sounds good or bad cannot be measured and so I started this thread to hear opinions about the reverb quality of these audio demos...
This is something that also depends partially on personal taste for sure....
I do not forbid others to post samples made with better Lex or TC units.
You can always convince me about the opposite that the Behringer is not a top-notch unit.
But I m sure the thread-destroyers here also do not have some upper class equipment to test it ....

there is this one
"Maybe the sound is slightly other than a M3000, M4000, 960L and Quantec Yardstick, but the soundquality is in the same league. "
and this one
I am not quite sure if this unit is on par with a 960L,
(and I will never know, because I won't buy this pro-uni)
but if you remember the price for both units the V-Verb is the ultra-clearly winner.
and this
"I have proven that it can sound as good as a Quantec Yardstick which is one of the best reverbs ever build.... "
yet he proved it without ever seeing a Yardstick
Im sure many people wouldn't have had an issue if he said something like "I really like this behringer unit". Instead he has claimed some pretty outrageous things. The comparisons weren't 100% scientific, actually they didn't exist at all! He hasn't compared it directly to any hardware unit that he claims it sounds better than.
Thats downright misleading.
