Same problems here with KYBD and GUI on chainer.
Togu, I would like to suggest adding support for midi program changes. Also, cpu usage is still too high on my centrino 1.6 GHz. Anyway, I can live with that. This synth is superb. Thanks for making it freely available.

Yes an arpeggiator and the ability to use this in mono mode, stacking all 6 voices on one key, with detune availability (apparently there was a hack where you could do this on the original). This would make this synth even more incredible. BTW please don't stop at the Juno , you are obviously very talented and have a lot of support here.

now someone with a real juno could play a velocity-sensitive midi file through a real juno preset and the VSTi to compare the performance.
The sounds on togus page sound very "close"

I have a question.
It seems that the LFO/ENV switch on the DCO section controls the modulation source while the PWM fader controls the intensity of the modulation. What I'm missing is the MANUAL position present in the JUNO 60.
How can I manually select the pulse width for the rectangular oscillator?

You're right, the switch had three positions - LFO, MANUAL and ENV. The VST only has two, however you can manually set the pulse width by selecting LFO and setting the LFO slider to 0 (although now you will not be able to modulate the pitch of course).sasarasa88 wrote:I have a question.

You are my hero! You are doing a great job with this plugin. I have a real Juno 60 and have had one since the the early 80's. Of the different Juno emus I've seen, yours captures the spirit of the Juno 60 the best. The GUI is top notch for sure. The synth isn't perfect yet but if you keep at it I think you will get very close. I agree with the suggestions about adding the Manual feature to the square wave, which is missing. Also the arpeggiator would be a great addition. Also as pointed out, the waveforms sound harsh and "clicky" when the the filter is wide open, but they sound good when filtered. The chorus is very good as well.
I did find a couple of problems relating to the LFO implementation. It seems the TRIG MODE feature is not working. When OFF is selected there should be no pitch or filter modulation heard until the LFO TRIG (a midi mod wheel msg in this case) is engaged. Right now OFF is functioning as AUTO does.
Also when the PWM on the square wave is set to LFO, the the lfo DELAY TIME is affecting the the PWM just as it does the pitch and filter LFO. On a real Juno 60, DELAY TIME has no effect on PWM at all.
Great stuff overall, Togu. I hope you keep refining it.

To verify the above, select the Startup preset, set the LFO rate at about 1/3, set the LFO pitch mod at about 1/2 and leave only the saw wave activated. With TRIG MODE in AUTO you will hear the same when playing short notes on the same key. Now switch it to OFF and you will notice the LFO running free when playing the same pattern.
I believe this behavior is fine.

I see what you mean. After looking at my Juno, the switch is actually labeled AUTO/MAN, not AUTO/OFF. On the hardware Juno, AUTO allows you to have LFO modulation "built in" to a preset (it functions the same as the OFF settings on the plugin), while MAN on the hardware Juno allows you to bring in LFO manually. It seems bringing in LFO with the mod wheel is not available on the plugin, unless it can be done with midi learn. And the way AUTO on the plugin functions is not available on a hardware Juno.
